It's important to understand that the Bible is not just a book of fables or fairy tales written many years ago, as some would have us believe.
The fact is that the Bible is the WORD of GOD. It was written by over 40 men - as God gave them the words - during a 1,500 year period and every one of the men shared the same message: the message of Jesus Christ.
The Apostle John starts his book with a profound statement:
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
