Bible Study: The Importance of Having a Grateful Heart

Updated: Nov 28, 2025

Living a Life of Thanksgiving, No Matter the Season

I am truly grateful that you’re here today! Before we dive deeper, I want to begin with a little story.

A few years ago, I walked through a season where everything felt heavy. I was overwhelmed, tired, and honestly, I was struggling to see God’s hand at work. One morning, I sat with my journal and wrote down just three things I was thankful for. It felt small, but it was sincere. That simple act of gratitude softened my heart, lifted my perspective, and reminded me that God was still with me in every detail.

Gratitude may seem simple, but it is powerful.

"Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."
