Tuesday night, March 4th, President Trump gave a speech to a joint session of Congress. A group of Democrat Congresswomen (and one man dressed as a woman) decided to show their support for women by wearing pink.
As a woman, I think it’s awesome that they decided to show their utmost support for women. Of course I say that with all the sarcasm I can muster because their actions speak much louder than their very empty words and pink clothing.
So, do the Democrats really care about women? Let’s take a look…
Rewind to January 21, 2017, the day after Donald Trump's first presidential inauguration. Thousands of women marched on Washington in solidarity for women’s rights, (as well as other rights), but primarily for women.
As far as the eye could see signs supporting women's rights and pink hats in the shape of female anatomy were seen everywhere. Not long after the march, the #MeToo movement, which was started in 2006, finally received the global recognition the campaign had longed for. The women’s rights movement was gaining momentum.
Since that time in 2017, a monkey wrench has been thrown into the women’s rights movement. This monkey wrench has placed Democrats and feminists in a sticky situation. It’s actually interesting to watch. (More on that in a minute).
The Evidence Is Clear
When you look at the evidence it's obvious that Democrats don't really care about women. Social justice and progressive liberalism are much more important to them than women are.
The Laken Riley Act
By now, most Americans know the devastating story of Laken Riley. On February 22, 2024, Laken Riley, a 22-year-old nursing student, was murdered while she was jogging at the University of Georgia. The perpetrator was a 26-year-old illegal named José Antonio Ibarra who was tried and then sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole on November 20, 2024,
On January 6, 2025 the Laken Riley Act was introduced to Congress. The bill passed on January 20, 2025. The Democrat vote in both the House and the Senate on the Laken Riley bill proves that women do not matter to Democrats.
Out of the 215 Democrats in the House, 156 voted NO on the bill (13 did not vote). That's 75% of Democrats. Only 46 Democrats voted in favor of the bill while 100% of Republicans voted in favor.
In the Senate, 35 Democrats (or 75%) voted against the Laken Riley Act. What's most appalling is that of the 16 female Democrat Senators, 11 of them voted against the bill. How can these women say that they care about women's rights when they chose illegals over women? They can't - it's hypocritical to say that women's rights are important to them.
The Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act
As I said previously, it's ironic that a group of Democrat Congresswomen dressed in pink to show their support for women on Tuesday during President Trump's speech. Less than 24 hours prior to the speech, Senate Democrats voted unanimously against a bill that would ban men from competing in women’s sports.
On January 14, 2025, the House of Representatives voted on the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act. Of the 215 Democrats in the House, 206 voted NO (96%), 6 did not vote, 1 voted present and only 2 voted YES. How can Democrats claim to be for women when they won't even vote to ban men from competing in women's sports? Again, it's hypocritical.
In the Senate, 45 Democrats (2 did not vote) voted against preventing men from women's sports. It was unanimous that Democrat Senators do not care about women.
The procedural vote that took place on the Senate floor required at least 60 votes to break the filibuster. They only received 51 votes. Sens. Angus King and Bernie Sanders, both "Independents," voted with Democrats.
They have the audacity to say that they care about women while President Trump and Republicans do not. Their votes speak louder than their words. The American people see them for what they are - hypocritical liars and frauds.
So.... Do Democrats Really Care About Women?
I previously mentioned that Democrats and feminists are in a sticky situation. They are supposed to stand up for women, but how can they do that without compromising liberal ideologies? This is the monkey wrench I was talking about - you cannot support every single ideology because they are at odds. When faced with the choice, would the Democrats choose to align with the ideals of middle America or double-down on their ideologies?
The truth is, you cannot be in favor of women's rights while making illegals and transgender women (men who are pretending to be women) the priority. Their votes on the Laken Riley Act and Protection of Women's Sports prove that the Democrats couldn't care less about women's rights. The fact is....
Democrats chose illegals and trannies over women.
The Democrats learned nothing from the election. They are doubling down on woke ideologies and the American people can see through their lies.
The verdict is in... Democrats do NOT care about women. Even the Democrat women don't care about women. They've proven without a doubt that political ideology is the most important thing - it runs their lives.
