I have always been moved by poetry, quotes and song lyrics. Admittedly, I am a hopeless romantic. I am moved by people's stories of how they met, what keeps them together, and the joy they get from the love of their lives. Valentine's Day is the perfect day to reflect on the greatness of love.
Some of the words that you will read below are very powerful. Love is like that...powerful. I know for me, sometimes it seems so hard to express the feelings that I have in mere words. It is not enough just to speak love, but to show love.
The best description of love as God intended it to be comes from the Bible in
1 Corinthians 13. These verses tell us that it doesn't matter if we have everything in the world, if we don't have love, these things are nothing. Love is the one constant that will never fail and is the greatest of all things.
